Considering commissioning an original artwork
A painting that is truly unique & personal to you or as a very special gift?

Having been a professional artist for a long time, i have a wealth of experience, and have met some brilliant people along the way
I have completed commissioned paintings and various art related projects for a huge variety of clients

From murals, installations and paintings commissioned by global companies such as Wholefoods Market to Glasgow City Council and Skypark
- Hotels, interior designers, bars and restaurants requiring unique and contemporary paintings and prints for various rooms and spaces
- Couples having their favourite view painted as a reminder of their proposal somewhere awesome
- Friends and relatives commissioning a painting as a wedding gift

- Climbers, campers, hill walkers, boarders, skiers and other mountain lovers getting their all time favourite Munro or Scottish place transformed into a painting on canvas
- Crofts, houses, cottages company head offices and other buildings, although i swear i cant paint another slate tile again after the VW Camper Van one

Taught kids my idea of painting and art with community arts projects all over Scotland
I have survived painting schools and community centres for fun with crazed kids and teachers
worked to serious deadlines and specifications for huge companies
and emerged unscathed with a massive smile
All have been an utter blast and many new friendships have been made all over the place
I am always happy to take on commissioned work if i am confident in the meeting a completion date if requested

Please contact me for more specific information if i haven't covered any of your questions in the guide below
Meeting in person is always the ideal way to figure out the plan, but if that’s not possible, a wee chat on the phone or email is all good too
I will get straight to the point about cost, and do not get the fear
I really do get it and know that this is not a ‘normal’ thing to do
I totally DO NOT expect people to be familiar with costs involved and the way commissioning works
The cost of a commissioned painting will roughly depend on factors such as size, materials required & the subject matter involved (and my current altitude of my bill mountain)
I can also visit a location to take photographs within a reasonable distance from Glasgow if i have time
Although i usually already have suitable photographs myself or know the area already in my tiny brain
Once i have an idea of your budget and subject matter for the painting i will offer you a choice of sizes and formats including bespoke framing if required.
We can discuss colours and style of painting by you giving me examples of previous paintings you like elements of.
Anything is possible as i can work in many different materials from oil and acrylic to spray paint, i love a challenge 🙂
If you would like a reference or feedback from any of my clients just ask.
I have completed and supplied work for private clients who will be happy to reassure you.
Including folk like us to hotels, bars, restaurants, schools, gyms, offices, corporations (if i like them)
and other companies across the world
To get in touch for a chat or arrange a meet up, just contact me here
These or anything else on the website should give you an idea of what is possible
