An original painting and prints of Portree at sunset during a rare Scottish heatwave again. The Isle of Skye in The Hebrides, Scotland.

A mixed media painting in spray paint, oil paint, acrylic paint & inks and others, creating a unique style of graphic and atmospheric painting full of vibrant colour & drama.

Some pinks and yellows are fluorescent paint.

The painting continues around the edges of the panel / canvas giving a very contemporary style and can be hung unframed although it can be framed if you wish.

There is a keyhole sunken hanging hole on the back.

  • A Giclee print is a high resolution print of the original painting.
  • Prints are produced with an HD printer using light fast pigment inks as opposed to dye based ink.
  • The High definition printer used can produce a far wider spectrum of colour and vibrancy.
  • Printing is on archival Fine Art, textured papers which are acid free & light fast, so no fading for over 90 years.
  • A border is left around the image to allow for framing.
  • Titled & signed on the border by Andy and arrives in a protective postal tube or flat in cardboard.
  • Please handle Giclee prints very carefully as the ink is almost powdery on the surface and is easily marked.
  • A framer will know how to put your print in a suitable frame.
  • Prints are fixed to white acid free mount/matte board.
    This provides the border around the image for framing.
  • Titled & signed on the mount by Andy.
  • Comes with a hard backing board & cellophane protective sleeve.
  • There are only a few sizes available as postage costs and risk of damage with larger sizes are too high.
  • Unframed prints can be purchased in larger sizes and your local framer can mount for you when framing.
  • Prints are presented in white mounts & surrounded in a simple 2.5cm thick matt black frame.
  • Sizes upwards of Large are normally presented in a 3.5cm thick frame.
  • All Andy’s work suits black as it really ‘pops’ the colours out.
  • Frames are all ready to hang easily, with a grip fixing on the reverse.
  • All are titled & signed on the mount by Andy.
  • Alternative frame profiles, colours & sizes/finishes be arranged, just get in touch.

Everything is made to order, and mostly in the studio

This is not Amazon or Tesco, please allow for occasional delays due to illness or other issues out with my control

  • UK delivery is within 10 working days
  • However normally within a few days if  in the UK
  • Canvas Prints can take up to 14 working days as made by a friend’s business
  • Customers requiring WORLDWIDE SHIPPING will be contacted to arrange shipping
  • Worldwide orders can be with you in a few days once made
  • Larger items and originals normally ship with UPS when ready are next day delivery UK
  • Packages under 70cm are normally posted with Royal Mail 1st or 2nd class signed for service
  • Please supply an address for delivery when ordering that will have someone available to receive/sign for packages

What are Giclee Prints?

  • A Giclee is a high resolution reproduction of the original painting
  • Produced in HD  using light fast pigment inks
  • More vibrant, accurate and depth of colour
  • Printed on Acid Free Fine Art, textured papers
  • No fading for over 90 years
  • Border around the image to allow for framing
  • Titled & signed by myself the artist
  • Arrives in a protective postal tube or flat in cardboard
  • Handle very carefully as the ink is very delicate
  • A framer will know how handle for framing

What are Canvas Prints?

  • Printed with extra vibrant, light &
    fade proof     inks 
  • Wrapped & tensioned over a 1.8mm deep Gallery Standard Frame
  • Stretcher bars made with kiln dried Pine
  • Cheaper bars often warp & sag due atmosphere conditions
  • Your canvas arrives with a Grip Hanger on the back
  • Making hanging easy with a nail or screw
  • presentation is neat & flush on your wall

What are
Framed Canvas Prints?

  • Canvas beautifully finished in a contemporary floating / tray frame
  • Increasingly popular with artists galleries & buyers
  • Floating frames draw attention to the print
    rather than frame
  • A narrow gap between the canvas &
    frame moulding shows the deep edges of canvas
  • The frame adds around 3cm to the outside size
  • A grip fixing on the back is included for quick & easy hanging

  • Professionally printed direct to photographic paper & laminated to 8mm thick black edged board
  • Specialist lamination heat bonds the print to board
  • UV Resistant, Fade Proof & archival materials
  • Matt or Glass finish, just ask
  • Protecting the print for over 90 years.
  • A very unusual & contemporary style of presentation
  • My personal preffered presentation for prints
  • Sunken keyhole hanger on the back for a flush
    to the wall sharp presentation
  • Can also be presented free standing on a shelf for example

Framed Prints?

  • Prints are presented in white mounts & a simple 2.5cm thick matt black frame
