The Isle Of lewis, the most Northerly island in The Hebrides and closest to The USA.
A gallery of original paintings, and the prints produced from them.
Lewis is not called Stornoway but the biggest town there, and in the whole of the Hebridean Islands chain.
A fairly level island covered in peat bogs, ragged cliffs, small Sea lochs and some incredible beaches. Stunning and harsh at the near same time, the weather really does change here in split seconds, varying from mile to mile.
Torrential rain in Stornoway and a heatwave down towards the link with Harris (Harris and Lewis are actually part of the same island linked by a wee bit of land near An Cliseam – The highest peak in the islands). A beast to climb!
