An abstract geometric painting inspired by architecture & skateboarding in the streets of Glasgow, Scotland.
Skateboarders make use of all the angled concrete structures, blocks, banks, transitions, stair cases and ledges in their urban environment.
My skating has always made me appreciate the shapes and architecture of the city.
An experimental exploration of angles, lines & shapes on canvas – intricate acrylic geometric patterns, layered over puddles, splatters, scrapes, bleeds & particles of acrylic paint, inks and spray paint.
A very abstract and mesmerizing painting which pops your eyes with near fluorescent spray paint colours courtesy of Montana Paints new cans.
This painting is presented in a floating/tray black frame with the backing hand sprayed with the extra vibrant pink used on the original painting. This creates a border around the work to give a very striking effect when hung.
Original – 845.00 – Framed outside dimensions are 86 x 86cm (34 x 34 Inches).
